About me…
All of us have stories and each one of us have stories that need to be told, need to be heard, sometimes need to be forgotten, and sometimes need to be captured. No matter what your story is, I’m here to help you try to capture that story in photos. My name is Landon Hammett and I currently reside in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As many of you, I too have a story. Mine is one of always chasing ways to express my artistic side. For most of my life I’ve chased my art in the form of music. However, during the pandemic I took a small hobby of photography and have turned into a bigger part of my story. I now want to share my gifts and talents to help others capture those same moments and stories in a way that can last for years to come.
The Logo….
The logo for Landon Hammett Photography was inspired by my lifelong love of animals. While I like most any type of animals, I’m most fond of dogs. I have had many dogs over my lifetime and each one of them has left an impact on my life in different ways. However, the one specifically representing the logo is my Basset Hound, Rosie. She’s ten years old and about as sweet and stubborn as she can be. I’m not sure how you can be both at the same time, but she has been able to capture both traits perfectly. While I would not call myself a pet photographer, I would certainly welcome any opportunities to help capture the personal companionship that our furry friends bring to our lives.
The Family….
While I don’t want to sound cliche, I certainly could not do this without my family. They have supported me, posed for me, encouraged me, and indulged my crazy photos ideas every step of the way. My wife Elizabeth has a silent strength about her that keeps me motivated to continue to be the best that I can be. My children Braeden, Addyson, and Kylie all love to go on my photography adventures. In return I love being their dad. Our life is busy, our life is crazy, but our life is full in the best ways. We all try our best just to be a little better each day at all that we do.
